My Digital ArtComputer graphics were in it’s infancy when I was in college. While studying computer programming I delved into this field as soon as I discovered it. I provided digital art for published books as well as for gaming and software development companies.
I maintain having both hands in the practical and digital realms which has opened up great possibilities for my work in emerging new technologies and digital art. |

MAkeup effectsSince 1990 I’ve been working along side the top artists in the World.
I am inspired and humbled to be able to have this career which has led to many personal projects including: cosplay costumes, weapons making, props construction, workout equipment building, creating and selling rubber monster toys, as well as inventing a patented gadget holster which developed into a successful business. Whenever the opportunity arises I enjoy inspiring the new generation of artists by teaching at local makeup trade schools in the Los Angeles area where I developed and written the curriculum. A summary of my credits can be found on IMDB. |
MY Art JourneyMy interest in pursuing makeup effects as a career began when reading about FX artists in FAMOUS MONSTERS and FANGORIA magazines then seeing the movie DAWN OF THE DEAD.
Learning teeth making basics from my local dentist, studying books and experimenting on myself during college while earning a degree in Fine Arts put me directly on my career path which started in 1990 when I secured an internship on THE DARK HALF. Digital art gained popularity in the late 80’s which also interested me. I’ve worked on video games and many publications. Due to my training in Stage Movement, Dance, Acting, and Stage Combat I have landed roles as a suit performer, acting in prosthetics, and stunt work which started when I first appeared as a zombie in Tom Savini’s NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD remake. |
